MECCAward's Messengers in Pakistan

On July 30-31, 2007 two members of MECCAward's governance board visited Islamic Republic of Pakistan to carryout talks with various chamber of commerce authorities and business executives regarding MECCAward.

Their two day plan consisted of:
1- Meeting with chairman S/C for OIC Mr. Hasnain Reza Mirza
2- Visit to Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry and meeting with:

• President, Mr. Shahid Hussain Sheikh
• Sr. Vice president, Mr. Yaqoob Tahir Izhar
• Vice president Mr. Mubasher Sheikh
• Chairman , Standing committe for ECO Mr. Seyed Mohsin Reza Bokhari

3- Meeting at FPCCI with Acting President Mr. Zubair F. Tufail

In addition to the mentioned meetings the MECCAward team visited the following corporations:

1- Lahore Carpets (Meeting with Mr. Shahid Hussain Sheikh)
2- Pacific Pharmaceuticals (Meeting with Mr. Irfan Umar)
3- Dawood Group ( Meeting with Mr. Hussain Dawood)

As a result of these meetings and visit different courses for collaboration between MECCAward and Pakistani organizations were identified and the mutual desire to cooperate was indeed expressed. MECCAward secretariat looks forward to welcoming its guests from Pakistan in the 2007 Award Ceremony in Tehran.
